Riki Stopnicki

Registered Social Worker | Therapist |

Lifelong Listener

Riki Stopnicki is a warm, dedicated therapist who believes that real healing starts with a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. A graduate of the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Riki is passionate about helping teens, adults, and parents feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.

Riki supports clients dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, anger management, trauma, and life transitions. She also works with parents to strengthen family connections and foster more harmonious dynamics at home. Her approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative — always tailored to the unique needs of each person and family she works with.

Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and a strength-based perspective, Riki helps clients build resilience, regulate emotions, and reconnect with what matters most.

When she’s not in session, you can find Riki walking her dog Thor or in the kitchen cooking and baking for family and friends — a reflection of the same warmth and care she brings into her therapy room.

Therapy with Riki is a place to feel safe, supported, and seen — and to discover the skills and confidence to move forward.
